Thank you for downloading AidMaker from aGoodCause.com A/S, which is headquartered at Egsagervej 8, 8230 Aabyhoej, Denmark (hereinafter called aGoodCause.com).
Below, you will find the terms and conditions of AidMaker and what we do to protect your privacy. By downloading or using the program, you accept this.

Purpose of AidMaker from aGoodCause.com
The purpose of AidMaker is to make it easy for you to find lots of good online shops and make donations to charity when you purchase something from them. The program ensures that the online shops donate a part of the price you pay for the products via aGoodCause.com to your favourite charity or relief organization. Additional functions and benefits can be added to AidMaker to support this purpose.
The program will remind you to make donations to charity organizations when you visit shops that support us. Moreover, the program will present relevant information to you as a user and add features that can make it easier for you to support charity and relief organizations.

Personal or work use
You will be licensed to use AidMaker for your own personal use or internally in your company, and you undertake to use the program in accordance with all current legislation, rules and provisions. You are NOT entitled to:
1) Distribute AidMaker against payment
2) Grant sublicences to your right to use AidMaker
3) Change, copy, adapt, translate, prepare derived products, decompile, perform reverse engineering, dismantle or create derived products, extract parts of the files or in any other way challenge aGoodCause.com’s rights to AidMaker.

Automatic updates
AidMaker communicates with aGoodCause.com’s servers to regularly ensure updated information, shop and organization lists as well as software updates to improve functionality. This is done automatically and does not need to be approved by you as a user. Other automatic updates may also be performed to ensure that the program functions as it is supposed to.

No bank-related information
AidMaker does not receive any confidential information stored on your computer. The program does not receive, record or distribute: bank information, credit card numbers, account numbers etc. Although the donations depend on your online purchases, aGoodCause.com does not receive any of the above-mentioned information. aGoodCause.com only receives a statement of the shopping amount and an anonymous order ID which is used to verify that the online shop can send and does send the right amount to the organizations via aGoodCause.com.

Access to and use of information
aGoodCause.com is a collaboration between charity and relief organizations, companies and the users of the program. It is therefore natural that we have designed and ensured a method of communication that respects your rights and privacy. It means that aGoodCause.com takes your data and information very seriously.
AidMaker can retrieve anonymous information from your computer which is sent to aGoodCause.com and which by definition cannot be traced back to any specific persons. The information may, for example, concern the number of searches, time aspects, product categories, organizational affiliation, visiting behaviour etc.

Nature and use of anonymous information
Your licence to and your version of AidMaker include unique anonymous information in the form of an application number. This number indicates whether the installation was successful or not. The number is also used to identify whether the software or the contents of the program need to be updated. This number is required in order to use AidMaker and cannot be deactivated.
aGoodCause.com also uses cookies to ensure that you are not needlessly exposed to information you have received before. Information from these can also be used to improve aGoodCause.com’s services. Cookies can be deleted at any time in accordance with the rules you have created in your other systems. aGoodCause.com is not responsible for the user’s cookie setup, and aGoodCause.com is not liable for the user’s changes in cookies which lead to the user changing previous settings. AidMaker uses cookies to ensure that AidMaker is easy and secure to use. By cooperating with third parties, aGoodCause.com seeks to avoid violating the interests of such parties. This is done without the use of personal information or similar. It is up to the user to make sure that the use of AidMaker is in compliance with these conditions.
Cookies are not used for spyware or other violations of privacy, but are only used to make the use of the website etc. easier and smoother for the user.
Furthermore, cookies are used to ensure that we can register the purchases needed to make donations to the charity and relief organizations.
The program from aGoodCause.com can respond to traffic to the shops with which aGoodCause.com collaborates – either via direct agreements with the shops, via affiliate networks and media agencies etc. In these cases, you as a user can click on an infobox, a toolbar etc. to approve the installation of a tracking cookie on your computer. This could potentially overwrite a previous cookie from another online medium, though aGoodCause.com has done everything to ensure that this does not happen. We have thus created a comprehensive setup to demonstrate good practice in the industry.
In practice, the possible overwriting of cookies from another medium has no effect on you as a user. However, your actions could potentially contribute to ensuring that the referral commission for a given sale is paid to aGoodCause.com and the charity and relief organizations rather than the medium from which you originally came.

Personal information will only be collected with your express permission and if you enter it yourself
If you provide aGoodCause.com with personal information yourself, this can also be used and integrated with the above.
The collection, interpretation and use of information take place with the sole purpose of improving the services offered by aGoodCause.com and/or via AidMaker. All personal information will only be collected wherever and whenever relevant to the further dialogue. You are always free to choose whether you want this information to be disclosed or not, but some services may require that you provide personal information.
In connection with certain downloads and services, you will be prompted to submit information of which some will be personal. At aGoodCause.com, this information is based on the information entered by the user about name, address, age and gender etc. The information is used to give aGoodCause.com an idea of which users use the company’s services in order to make it easier for us to ensure that you as a user receive great service and to ensure the best possible framework for aGoodCause.com’s activities and donations. It will also be used to send the right material to you, but only material you have ordered, downloaded or accepted to receive. By downloading and using AidMaker, you accept to receive the information that accompanies program updates and any news which are sent to the program but not to your mailbox.

In other words: No spam!
The personal information can be deleted any time you want. You can always ask for your personal information to be removed from mailing lists and other data lists at aGoodCause.com. This can be done by sending an email to mads@aGoodCause.com.
Your information will never be passed on to a third party. In the event that the law requires aGoodCause.com to pass on information to any third parties, we will do so. Any government or legal intervention of this kind will, however, be announced, and the persons affected by such intervention will be notified via the means of contact made available by them by virtue of their personal information. In the event of aGoodCause.com’s sale and purchase of a company, joint venture, merger or other ownership matters in which aGoodCause.com is involved, information and data may be transferred. As a user, you can oppose the passing on of your data by writing to info@agoodcause.com.
You can remove AidMaker from your computer at any time by choosing ‘Add/remove programs’ in the Control Panel. The next time you use the computer, you will thus not have access to the services offered by AidMaker. The effect of former use cannot be revoked.

Intellectual property right
By downloading and using AidMaker and aGoodCause.com’s services, you accept that all rights and interests concerning AidMaker, software and content that are used or made available in connection with AidMaker and aGoodCause.com shall remain with aGoodCause.com or a third party without limitation. As a minimum, this applies to patent rights, copyrights, trade secrets, product and service rights, pattern rights, database rights, rights to information and data of any kind as well as any other type of intellectual property right of any kind. This applies whether the rights have been registered and whether an application for such rights has been submitted or not.
You accept that any right and presentation thereof must in no way be concealed or deleted and that you will not carry out such measure or enable any third party to do so.

Submission of ideas and information to aGoodCause.com
Any enquiry made to aGoodCause.com, either directly or in connection with AidMaker, shall be the property of aGoodCause.com and can be used by aGoodCause.com or a third party chosen by aGoodCause.com in any shape or form without entitling you or others to payment for such use.

Changes to terms and conditions
aGoodCause.com is entitled to make changes to these terms and conditions from time to time. Since your use of the program and aGoodCause.com is anonymous, we cannot inform you about this personally. However, you can stay updated and get access to the latest versions at the websites from which you download the program. Changes to the terms and conditions will also be announced in our monthly newsletter which you can register for at www.aGoodCause.com.

Disclaimer
Nothing in these terms and conditions will affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
aGoodCause.com disclaims all implied matters to the extent permitted by law, including matters relating to AidMaker’s security, reliability, timeliness and function. aGoodCause.com cannot be held legally responsible for problems concerning the use of your computer which may be caused by AidMaker.

Limitation of liability
aGoodCause.com cannot be held liable for any transactions completed through the use of AidMaker. Transactions completed through the use of AidMaker solely concern the user and the shop in question. aGoodCause.com is only responsible for collecting and sending the agreed donation to the charity chosen by the user in accordance with the percentages applicable from time to time.
aGoodCause.com or persons who are employed by or work as volunteers for aGoodCause.com shall be exempt from any liability within the law for direct, indirect, accidental or third-party induced damage that may occur as a result of the use of the website, services, communication or products supplied by aGoodCause.com.
Specifically, aGoodCause.com can in no way under these terms and conditions or their subject matter be held liable for wilfully or negligently having caused the user or others in tort or otherwise, in the event of a breach of contract, in connection with incorrect information etc.:
1. Financial losses of any kind
2. Any costs incidental to obtaining this
3. Loss of goodwill or reputation/indirect losses.
aGoodCause.com disclaims any liability for other persons’ use, storage, distribution or other handling of material. This applies whether the material in question takes the form of information, products, downloads etc. which are made available via aGoodCause.com. Thus, aGoodCause.com can never under any circumstances be held liable for any user in connection with his or her use or abuse of aGoodCause.com’s services, functions and software, including AidMaker. This also applies to any use which is beyond aGoodCause.com’s reasonable control.
As such, aGoodCause.com only makes the program available, and it should be noted that the user is responsible for ensuring that his or her use of AidMaker does not violate any third-party rights. aGoodCause.com can thus not be held liable for any direct or indirect third-party losses suffered as a result of the use of AidMaker.

Statutory adjustment and settlement of disputes
These terms and conditions are subject to the laws of Denmark. You and aGoodCause.com acknowledge and accept that any dispute or other issues which may arise out of these terms and conditions shall be brought before and settled by the courts in Denmark. These terms and conditions shall constitute the complete agreement between the parties concerning their subject matter and shall replace all former or present written and oral agreements concerning the subject matter.
Any waiver of a provision of these terms and conditions shall only apply if made in writing and signed by aGoodCause.com.

Use of data collected
When you use the services made available via this software, you accept that data on your Internet behaviour in relation to the Internet shops with which we collaborate can be combined with any personal data that you give aGoodCause.com.
We reserve the right to use and cross-reference these anonymous and personal data to improve and target our communication with you as a user.
In this context, information can also be marketing material of any kind, and it may be communicated via any kind of medium and in any kind of format via our software to your computer.
In this connection, aGoodCause.com naturally complies with any legislation on marketing and on the use of data applicable in the relevant countries.
